Wow, that is beautiful!
Is that the 500 that Twin Commander used for their air to air shots last year?

Yes. More pics coming.

More pics :D
Having been through the 500B restoration process a few times lately, there’s no possible way to start with a project and economically end up with with a plane like this. It’s Scottsdale based and ready to inspect.

Sold ;D

This fine machine is back on the market, now with synthetic vision, a real annual inspection, Flightsteam 510, new fuel cell, full optioned color JPI in the box, etc.
She continues to be fantastic transportation. I flew it 1,850 nm in one day last month in stretched out and reclined comfort. Home for a late dinner. All on 24-28 GPH and no worries about turbos, wastegates, exhaust system issues, not having enough room and all the compromises I’ve dealt with on other planes in its class. I suppose if you’re reading this, you already know many great things about the 500 series. :)
But with the mother of all Shrike projects getting closer to completion, and a -10 powered 840 in the barn as well, I think the time is close to sell the 500B so I can enjoy the Shrike I’ve been waiting on for 2 years .... :P

Is it me or are the "DATE" stamps out of whack. Is it sold or is it still for sale??
Ok old listing with new activity. I got it
-
Bruce, is this one yours?
-
Yes - old listing, new activity! I should have started a new thread with the updates. But I have been too tied up flying to even take pics of the interior.
Yes - it’s mine. I flew it 1000 miles today ;D
1st leg: 3:45 on 94 gallons for 611 nm NW bound. Not bad for wintertime.
While I can’t get the engine monitor installed soon enough, it’s only made it a couple years without it ;)

A few more pics. I’ve been flying it quite a bit. If you’re considering a 500 or just one of the nicest ways to fly around, you should look at this plane. I absolutely love it but I own an 840 and a Shrike!

Oh, and if you leave the keys, I would be happy to exercise it on a weekly basis . . . a a a a nd, I'll let prospective customers look at it too!
Just trying to help.

Kent,
I appreciate your kind offer and you are on the right track! If we can exchange a bill or sale and a couple bucks plus lunch at Deland, I think we can wrap this up ;D

Bob’s went to Central America - has new paint and panel, etc now. I think El Salvador is where Gerardo is based. Not sure but I thought he joined up here?
-
13,000’ and it’s still doing 200 MPH!
-
Yes, this is Gerardo's Shrike In El Salvador. I didn't take a picture of the inside, but it has a very nice interior, as well as a beautiful paint job. Gerardo let me put the 840 in his hangar while I was visiting in El Salvador. Bill Leff kindly was my mentor for flying out of the country. I can't say enough about how hospitable everyone was in El Salvador.

Here is the Shrike
