Title: fuel venting probvlems
Post by: sbdpilot on June 02, 2018, 12:25:45 pm
Has any one had a problem with the fuel tanks not venting on a 500A? My fuel pressure got lower the higher I went. Had to turn boost pumps on to keep engines running at full rich. Opening the filler cap would fix it for about 30 minutes.

Let us know when you figure it out.
Thx

It turned out to be both fuel filters clogged with stuff that not been identified as of yet It was only 1 hour after an annual inspection.

How old are your fuel lines. I just changed mine out due to leaking. Maybe your lines are breaking up from the inside out. It was relatively easy to change them out.
