Title: Fuel bladder cost?
Post by: Adam Frisch on July 16, 2018, 11:36:37 am
Gonna have to replace my outboard fuel bladders, most likely (unless it's just the interconnect tubes that are not connected properly). What am I looking at for average bladder?

Adam

I just quote some outboard bladders couple months ago, prices were from $2,700 to $3,000 USD depending on the location of the supplier. I quoted with BYERLY Aviation and AERO AIR.

P/N 630302-507 for 690A

Kind Regards

Whatever the price, ugh, what a sucky job to do; I helped Morris replace some back in the day (mid-late 80's) on a 690 and because I was younger, more limber and weighed ~80 lbs less I was the best candidate for the "grunt work" of the job. My arms were sore for days after that job having to squeeze in those inspection/access ports.

In reality, $3k doesn't really sound that bad (not sure about the install cost though).

Yeah, didn't think about the multiplier of # of bladders. There are "a few" aren't there...
