I would be more than willing to pay $80 to $90 for this airplane. Shame that it is sitting around. Please contact me if you truly want to sell the airplane. I’m ready to buy so right away. I’m inspecting two Barons this week in Arizona. So we are in the neighborhood. Have a wonderful week. Again, im a previous Commander owner. Love the airplane.

Doesn't appear to still be on the market, from what I can see.

The ad may have expired. I’ve got two Barons to inspect.

I’ve talked to Gordon several times about his commander in the last 2-3 months.  I know it’s been sitting for a while and it has no avionics but I was looking for a flying project. He’s been trying to sell it for 6-7 years now. He had it priced at $129k, then $150k and now he’s firm at $160,000. When I asked him if he had done any upgrades or anything else to justify his price increase no answer was given. I spoke with Gordon in December on the phone and asked him if he would take pictures of the last entry in the airframe and engine log books. He got very defensive and told me to just trust him the aircraft was in annual. He said that one person has sent someone to look at the aircraft, probably during the annual inspection and that someone recommended a hose to be replaced, but he wasn’t willing to do it because it was $5000. He said no hose should cost $5000.

I let the holidays pass and I kindly requested the latest logbook entries again. His response was that he would not sell me the airplane and that I talk to Aircenter.

Here is a photo of what the plane looks like now.

I thought I would be the perfect fit for this aircraft and it would take someone like me to buy it. I think this aircraft will be sitting like this indefinitely.
