Bruce- did I see one time on a ramp somewhere the edelbrock company owned a Gulfstream 1000?

I know they did, because when I was buying my 980 from Bob Mays, I think he was either selling it, or had just sold it. I don't know that it belonged to the company-- it may have been Vic's personal airplane.

A quick internet search shows it to be 96202, N27VE, exported to South Africa, I believe.

Yes. He was a great guy in my experience with a nice family and a great boat he once showed off at a Twin Commander owners meeting in Roche Harbor.  Good times. Sold out or let some VC guys buy in and i think it was challenging for him. As a hot rodder and racer at heart, it was hard to hear about. And what a nice 1000, hopefully it will come back to the US of A someday.
