900/1000 Prices-- really?
« on: June 02, 2019, 01:05:48 pm »
I have to admit I was sort of shocked to see this airplane for $799k:

Sure, it's high time and been all over the planet, but still... a reasonable -10 900 for under $1 million? Is there a story associated with it, or is the market declining on 900/1000s?

Saw it, too. Especially since the Nolan plane is almost there in the same price bracket... This 900 has pretty much all I'd ever want.
Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.

The big issue with the 900 is the useful load, unless there is an STC to increase the gross weight. With the dash 5s, it couldn't carry that much, with a max gross of only 10,700. Also, I believe it had a service ceiling of only FL330, although I'm not sure about that one.
