V Speeds For 680FP
« on: October 07, 2015, 10:57:44 am »
One thing I've been blown away with is the complete lack of information in my Owners Manual.  I seem to have a complete manual from the plane which is a lot more than I got from the Twin Commander people when I ordered a replacement.  However, it still is missing quite a bit of stuff.  As an example there are no Vx, Vy speeds listed, no climb speeds, no rotation speeds, no landing speeds.  There are charts for takeoff performance but no landing performance.

My immediate question is whether anyone knows the speeds for Rotation and best rate and angle of climb in a 680FP?

thanks,

glenn

Some of the information can be found on the Twin Commander Flight Group website.

Thanks for the link.  Still no rotation speed but at least have Vy now.  We're getting close.

Do you have just the POH?

Is that the same as an Approved Flight Manual?  There are a few of those on Ebay.

Yes, I actually have the original one from the plane and one I ordered from Twin Commander people a few months ago.  The one from the plane is much more complete but neither are very useful compared to other POH's I've seen.

Thanks,

Glenn
