Looking for instruction in a 520
« on: September 10, 2019, 05:27:27 pm »
Hey everyone!

I am restoring a 1953 Model 520. I am looking for someone with experience in this plane, or a similar one who would be willing to provide me with some training before I run it up and roll off the runway myself.

Chris

I am in Michigan, the plane is in Owosso right now KRNP, and it will be ready to ferry it to KFNT soon.

I have 350hrs in 520's. Not a CFI, but can give you some pointers or even mentor along for some flights.

Cool!  I fly a 500B, so I can't help, but I admire what you are doing.  Can you post a photo or two?

Just got word from Christopher that he's been taxiing the 520 and it's now going in for it's final stuff, so nice to hear things are progressing on this classic!
