Nose Gear Spacer?
« on: January 21, 2020, 11:37:56 pm »
Anyone have any additional insight into this?

It says it is recommended that the check be completed "as soon as possible"-- what does that mean?

There was a nose gear collapse caused by over torquing of the bolt which led to field checks finding a couple more in the forestry business. Even if sheared, it can stay together for some time, maybe a long time.  Several have been caught via checking.  It’s unlikely yours is a problem given your maintenance at a quality service center but it’s an easy check.

Thanks! I have a former service center mechanic who does small things for me, and he checked it. All good.
