New owner from Miami

Want to say hello to my Aero Commander Wing Man. I just got into a Aero Commander 500 as a project and in the process of restoration. Been working on it for a couple of months and hope to have her flying again by the end of June. I will post some pictures as it comes along.

What year and serial number is your 500?  Where did you find it?  How did you come to pick a Commander?

1958 serial # 686-33. Definitely I will look you up when she is flying again. Heading up this week to strip and paint. The panel is complete and ready to install. The upholstery is being worked on. Got the props overhauled and ready for installation. Also purchase some alternators to replaced those old generators. Service is complete. I came across this plane on EBay. I heard nothing but great things about the 500 so I could not pass up.

The 500 is a great plane.  I fly mine as often as I can and absolutely love it!  Have fun!
