N383HC 690A
« on: August 14, 2020, 02:26:17 pm »
Good day,

This is to introduce myself; Peter Fraser as the new owner of 690A N383HC Serial #11310. This is a Grand Renaissance conversion done in 2002 including of course the Dash 10 engines. I picked the aircraft up in Texas and flew it to Winner Aviation in Ohio to do the Pre Buy and annual/150 hour inspection. I cannot say enough good things about Winner Aviation and the staff, both from a professional and a personal view point. I ended up being with them for three weeks that although trying, especially in this Covid era, was well worth it as the aircraft came out in great shape. Then flew it back to our current base in McMinnville, Oregon. Have taken friends on short trips to huge thumbs up. I am enjoying the great flying qualities and of course the tremendous views from the pilots seat. Looking forward to meeting other owners as we fly around the country and of course International trips once the Pandemic eases up.

Congratulations Peter. I’m proud to have re-built the plane and to have sold you the plane, even in the background.  Winner has earned my overflow work for the last 5 years and Tim T is a great guy. Blue skies!

Welcome! I was in McMinnville this morning, in my Citabria! I am based in HIO, so close by.

If there is anything I can do to help you out, just send me a private message.

Again, welcome! Nice to have another Commander in the area.

Peter is a friend and an interesting guy.  I am glad you joined the group Peter.

Looking forward to seeing your new plane.

Peter you have met Adam.  He was with me having lunch at CMA when you were there.  You were ferrying some big TP to an airline in Hawaii.  You gave Adam and me a tour of the work being done for the additional fuel tanks.

Next time you are in CMA we need to get Adam to join us.

Oh Cool Steve - I remember that now. I think it was the Commanders bigger and older brother - the Q400. ;)

I am, regrettably, retiring from operating three commanders.  I have parted out two; have many parts: complete tail, vertical and horizontal, M4-D AP system, ..... the bird that I am putting on the market is SN 11315.
