If they'd pushed through for SP, they'd probably still be in business. Sad. What an icon, not only for aviation, but for pure design. Still looks modern today, almost 60 years later. How many things can you say that about?

I loved flying Learjets, especially the 35. Just did everything well, looked great, and was fun to fly.

But, Cessna and Embraer have really out-competed them at this point. I have heard good things about the 45 (now 75), but without investment to keep them current, I don't think it was really a viable product line.
