Doesn’t need to be certified since there are 2 certified attitude indicators in the plane. As you know, G600 is about 100 times more reliable that the original iron gyro and 14 electric motor indicator. With the ipad, you have a 3rd data sourced and 3rd power source unit. Frankly I’d rather rely on a Garmin AHRS than an old air driven gyro but anyway, the FS also provides for a 4th or 5th attitude display on whatever devices are connected. I use an old iPhone connected to FS 210 my Aerostar for the 3rd AI as well. I like it better than the G5’s that go red x’s all the time or the Sandels that are a total disaster ...
