Engines
« on: June 01, 2022, 06:08:23 pm »
I have a 681B with the Century engines.  The other day while getting ready to depart sitting at low idle I was getting a intrstge bleed amber message.  When I applied power the message went away.  Thoughts

Hmm, don't have that warning on my -1 engined 680V. Something the 681 might be unique in. I'll check with Stan my buddy who owns a 681.
Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.

I talked with Rob Louviaux who has maintained this aircraft for years and he said nothing to worry about.  In fact he said they removed that message on the 690's.  FYI

The bleed air is below 100PSI.  Not to worry unless it comes on in flight.

If that were the case, would you not have enough bleed air for pressurization?
