Don they did. In fact the 441 I am flying was a former DB plane.

The company solid all their 441s (they had 3) and now own a new CJ4+. The founder kept a 441 and bought a sister CJ for his personal use.

All the 441s stayed local so they continue to maintain them. There is an A&P/IA there with tremendous 331 experience and is an amazing resource. I feel fortunate. Also, the team at EAC has been very helpful, from ordering parts to helping diagnose a few issues on the start relay.

I can't wait to fly her again. Hopefully test flights the last week of March.

Forgot to post here.

Airplane completed its 150 and major panel upgrade and I made the first post mx flight on 6/20. This was the first time I had flown the TC in 7 months and 1 day. Minus the GCU issue (covered in another thread) my squawk list was pretty short.

I have a slight seep on the back of the left engine prop governor. Lots of time left on mine does anyone have a recommendation of a place for reseal?

My biggest concern was setting flight idle as I had never done it before. The engines are spot on with no yaw and a solid 1500 fpm descent.

I am hoping Tuesday or Wednesday I get some more stick time.

Sean - can you share the Flight Idle parameters for the -10's?
Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.

Adam,

Per the MX Manual you climb to 5500, dirty the airplane (gear and full flaps) and slow to 95 kits. You are timing the descent to to 4500 while noting any adverse yaw or NTS pulsing.

Given I have MT props the timing doesn’t work, but the descent rate should be around 1500 fpm.

I believe you can keep just the engine display, because I know someone who did.

Is the Garmin engine instrument display certified on the Commander yet?
