Enviro AC Question

Hi all, on the commanders modified with the Enviro system, can the system cool the aircraft on the ground with a GPU connected or is the system tied directly to the engine like it is on most King Air models? If so, how well does it work at cabin pre-cooling?

Yes, it can pre-cool the aircraft with a GPU connected. However, you don't need an Enviro system to do that-- any Commander with the Keith Freon system can do it as well. My airplane has the Sundstrand and Keith Freon, and it works great.
