Cirrus SR22 Pilot In A 690B First Flight
« on: January 19, 2022, 02:03:42 am »
Thought would post a fun flight with a friend of mine. He is a Cirrus SR22 pilot Marc Epner. He was instrumental when in 2018 I reached out to him because he ran a local flight club here in Chicago (Leading Edge). He is one of those great folks you meet in Aviation that love to share their experience and want to see others get in to aviation. Though I would share a fun flight I took him on.

His instrument overlay was not configured properly so it seem like we were close to VNE but that is showing the ground speed and not the indicated speed. Though that other Commander pilots would enjoy the video. I came out of a Malibu as my first airplane and upgraded to a 690B and I take the performance for granted now but it's fun to share the joy with others.

Nice video.  We should all take more non commander pilots for a ride and show off the commanders capabilities.  Every time I do,it is a lot of fun.
