Annual Inspection
« on: February 23, 2022, 05:36:12 pm »
The mechanics who have done my Annual Inspections over the past dozen years unfortunately are not available this year.  Any recommendations for a Soring Annual for a 500B?  Hoping not to fly too far outside of Texas, but, of course, I’ll take my girl as far as need be,.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Was South Central taking care of your plane?

Yes.  Central Airlines did almost all of my maintenance work for the past 15 years or so.  Absolutely great work and kept my 500B in top shape.  Unfortunately, they are way short on mechanics now (probably due to the past two years of covid) and just don't have the manpower to complete my Annual this year.  As you would expect, my goal now is to find an honest, reputable and qualified maintenance shop to do the upcoming inspection... and maybe more in the future.  Of course, with me flying from Texas to Missouri in the past for maintenance work, I am not adverse to taking my Commander a few states away to get the work done, if need be.
