500 sereis seating arrangements
« on: May 19, 2022, 01:18:08 pm »
Somewhere I saw on the interwebs a document that showed all the various ways you could put seats in a 500 series plane. Between forward facing and rear facing middle row, plus the rear bench vs individual seats - I think there were 12 combinations. I can't find it anymore. Does anyone have a copy?

I believe the only approved arrangement in a 500B is all forward facing. But who’s checking?

I'm producing multiple W&B documents for the various seating configurations (2 seats, 4 seats, etc) I'm likely to use. The A&P who signed it asked if there was anything in the documentation support it. I said "I don't know" and got the signatures I need.

It would seem reasonable to be able to take them out in any combo but seems like there’s always a way to say no these days.  We took the couch out of a Shrike to haul checks on the spur of the moment.  Part 135.
