I have a 500A and any time I refuel, I have fuel on top of the flapper valve. Is this normal?

How many months old are the anti siphon cap o-rings?

I noticed the same thing.

I found the fuel from the pump nozzle was dribbling on top of my flapper valve as I removed the pump. I now wait for the nozzle to drain completely and then use the nozzle to push the valve down one more time until it's dry. The flapper is now dry when I go to refuel.

I figured it's a good indication of an excellent seal on my flapper valve gasket.

I remember way back from my line service days 35 years ago about doing that!
