Analog Engine Gauge Options and lighting
« on: January 05, 2023, 11:52:01 pm »
Are there any new modern, non-condensation inducing engine gauge options for the 690A? Also an light ring options besides post lights? Upgraded post lights? Final phase of my panel is under way and the current lighting does not fit in with the new look.

I'm curious as well. There has been a lot of talk about the Garmin engine monitoring panel, but I haven't heard anything lately. Hopefully Bruce will chime in.

Honestly for what it would cost and after redoing my entire panel I'm not sure I'd go for the EIS. I had it on the 421C and its very clean look. If I could instead get a row of clean digital round gauge replacements with nice internal lighting I'd rather go with that.

I’d probably go with LED post lights and a new dimmer system.  There’s really no other option until we can get a Garmin EIS.  Maybe overhaul the gauges for looks but the condensation doesn’t seem to hurt the function.

Where do I get the LED post lights? And how much do they cost?
