Wondering if anyone might have, or know where, I might download the POH (PDF) for the 500A with the IO-520 conversion?
TIA - Rob

I have no idea if there was a good supplement. The requirements for STC documentation at the time weren't as rigorous as they are today.

Performance should be as good as or better than a 500B - 300hp vs 290 hp, but 500 lbs less.

Other than the missing prop blades and the Continentals, a 500A is largely the same plane as a 500B so weights are comparable with given equipment. The manuals from those days are all comically thin so I’m guessing you’re pretty much on your own regarding performance. It would be interesting to know what they claim it did if there is data available.

You mean aircraft performance specs are not 100% accurate? For shame, hahaha! Good feedback of course. Wondering who holds the STC... are these the same folks still doing conversions on Cessna and Beech twins? Really appreciate the help - I'm close to making a deal on an aircraft.
