What, no interest in a lovely visit to PHILLY?  Balmy 25 degrees and 4" of snow currently.  Come on over, waters fine.

Which do you buy?
840 fully loaded, half total time, or than the 1000?
1.5 mill 840 or 1 mill for the 1000

Generally, I would say a 1000 should be worth more than an 840. However, we should consider the individual aircraft.

The 840 has brand new avionics, new paint and interior, and low time engines-- and is coming from a very reputable seller.

The 1000 is a 695B, which is really good, but still has most of the original avionics, higher time engines, looks somewhat tired... I won't say anything about the seller, as I haven't had any personal interactions with him.

Valid points DonV.  Just know the 1000B (especially) was top of the line, wondering if $500K-1 mill refurb puts it where it needs to be, a $2 mill airplane.

I've always loved the 1000 model: 6.7psi cabin diff and the bottom of the hull is the pressure vessel, not the monkey motion the previous 690 models had with it being the floor. Every time you need to open up an inspection panel on the 690 they need to be resealed with goo - not here.
Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.
