You know, I wake up every day wondering how people get around without a plane. We have really good friends that live up in Louisville KY and we woke up Monday morning and decided to hop in the plane and go swimming at their house. 1hr 50min flight and we're landing at their airport, picked up and relocated to their home where we ate lunch and dinner while the kids swam in the pool. It was an awesome day and I'm sorry to say that my favorite part of the day was the trip up and back in my awesome Twin Commander 680FP ( Sorry Shelby, but I love to fly ). The entire trip back was at night with only a few popup clouds hanging around below us. Smooth as glass and beautiful.
The landing back at 7 lakes was a bit foggy which is always fun with the trees at the approach end of the runway, but then we always try to knock the squirrels out of the tops when we go by. I'm sure the neighbors were cursing our 10pm landing but hey, buy a plane :-)
