Jetprops shorter than 690's?
« on: August 08, 2016, 11:41:11 pm »
Read it in an online article. I never knew the Jetprops were shorter-bodied. I thought it was the same airframe, just newer wings. Is this true or have they gotten it wrong?

Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.

They're all basically the same length.

However, that said, the Twin Commander website's specs are a little bit confusing, and do make it appear that the 690s are about 1.5 feet longer than the Jetprops. I suspect this has to do with the "stinger" tail, which extended out from the tail a bit, but not really that far.
