SRLs
« on: October 02, 2016, 02:12:33 pm »
My engines have developed about a 20 degree temperature split. It's not always there, and it seems to be most apparent in the low flight levels, but lately I've been seeing it even at FL280.

I'm suspecting something to do with the SRL on one side-- any thoughts?

My brother told me that it can be easily fixed-- they'll simply adjust the low side up so it matches the high side. Of course, it really depends on which one is correct.

Can the SRLs be swapped from side to side, or are they specific for the side or engine?

Don - you should be able to just swap the cannon plugs side to side and try that

Sounds like the temp compensation resistor.  Have the value checked vs what is listed in your maintenance records
