MT 5 BLADE PROP

per approved STC which do not exceed 820SHP and 1591 rpm.
Propeller: MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(G)/CFRL240-55d

Seems to pretty much cover the Commander TPE fleet even the -5's upgraded to the -10T

Anyone with a Merlin who doesn't have Dash 10s isn't going to drop whatever the cost is for these props.

The STC does appear to cover the entire 690/695 universe, although not the 680s, sorry...

With the wide-chord props, I was told that the performance benefits were nil on the dash 5 airplanes, and as a result you rarely saw them on dash 5s. In the case of these props, I would think you would get the noise and vibration benefits no matter what, even if you didn't get any improved performance.

Now, someone said that on the Merlins the MT STC is not valid for planes that have been converted to -10's. They either have to be -6's (in their case, which would be -5's in our case) or come with factory -10's. Anyone know if this is true here as well? Seems to be a big market they'd be losing then, all the 690A/B's with -10s...
