Yes, but I have no plans to. All it would get me is the ability to go to 290, 300, and 310, and the benefit just isn't there. Furthermore, I have an 11,000 foot cabin altitude at FL280, and that's high enough for me.

It would probably make sense on a 1000, but not for an 840 or 980.

Bruce, would you spend your money to RVSM an 840 or 980?

Nice setup!

Also looked back and saw where you asked me a question. Sorry I missed it. I would not spend today's money to RVSM an 840/980.  It would certainly be nice to have though.

That is a beautiful Commander!  I like your hangar as well.  Mine is kept in a hangar shared by the Texas A&M University King Airs.

Thanks! My airplane only shares the hangar with this.

Nice.  I'd love to have my own hangar... Just haven't been able to make that happen yet...

Don,

I love the hanger too but how on earth do you keep it so clean?  I don't even see any tables laying around.  I have a 120' hanger myself but anywhere flat is full of junk, um. Stuff.  Of course, I am in constant state of working on my airplanes so most of it is tools but if it is flat it is covered.  Flat surfaces are like magnets.

It helps to have a Commander service center on the field!

I do have some shelving on the other side of the hangar, and the roof of the office is also storage area.
