The paint shop recommended a spray-on wax, which I've been putting on the nose and nacelles in the hope of keeping her relatively bug free. So far, it's worked.

What is the name of the wax. I could use it with all the flying critters in Florida

I thought you guys would think it was for sale! Given the photo and all...

Actually just dropping it off for a new autopilot... should be interesting. My airplane is going to be the STC platform for the STEC 3100.

Nothing like getting a freshly installed digital autopilot fully tweaked for free

I would have let them use mine

How long to STC?  And will it be applied over the jetprop fleet or just your model?

That’s great Don.  I am interested in how it works, our planes need more AP options

They are using my airplane to get an STC valid for the entire turbine fleet-- possibly the pistons as well.

They are saying 90 days, so hopefully early December. They've certified the 3100 in some other airplanes already (King Air series, I believe) so it should be fairly straightforward. And most of the installation (servos, wiring) is the same as the 2100, which Eagle Creek has done a bunch of.
