So is the hangar feeling a little empty these days??? You been checking out where the tread marks are fading from the floor where she used to set???

Must feel a little like the "empty nest" feeling one gets when the kids are grown up and gone.  But never fear... the Commander will be back before you know it just like the kids 8)

It sure is! And with all the smoke, I'm missing the ability to escape, although I don't really know where I could go...

She looks great! When you gonna put the MT props on, Don? ;)
Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.

You know, I just finished my recurrent with Barry Lane, and he said that the 5-blade prop is the best modification there is, assuming you already have -10s. You lose a few knots of speed, but his feeling was that you make it up in quiet, smoothness, and longer overhaul interval. Plus better acceleration and deceleration.

He does claim to be a museum. He has hangars all over the place, and supposedly is going to be moving some of that stuff. The Sabreliner is just a fuselage, I don't know if there are wings around or what. There is also a Lear 25 that he says he going to put up on a stick at some friend's house. And a couple of MiGs, F-104s, I think a couple of F-5s in the hangar (but not sure-- have never been in there since he moved in).

She looks great, glad you have her back home.
