Who owns the Javelin slipper tank STC? Anyone know the cost to install?

THIS IS FROM BOBBY COOK WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR THEM AWHILE BACK
Slipper Tanks
22500.00 approx 6 week delivery
This kit is no longer PMA sign off will have to be done by Toms Aircraft
AS I RECALL... SEVERAL OF THE SERIAL NUMBERS WERE SET UP FOR THEM AT THE FACTORY... SO INSTALLING WOULD BE SOMEWHAT EASY AS THE LINES AND ATTACHING PORTS ARE ALREADY IN THE WING

Thanks, SKY.

Is Toms Aircraft the only one that can install them? Do you know if they have the STC?

YES IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY OWN THE STC AND THEY ARE JUST DOWN THE 405 FROM YOU AT LGB...
YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK WITH REGION 5 OF THE US FORESTRY SERVICE AS THEY ARE RUMORED TO HAVE 2 OR 3 SETS SURPLUS THAT WERE NEVER MOUNTED OR USED... THEY SHOULD BE CHEAP AND WOULD SAVE HEAPS OVER A NEW SET FROM TOMS AIRCRAFT

Wow,

Couldn't tell if the wind was blowing him around like that or he couldn't get his feet right but the multiple takeoffs which the trees on the hill out front don't make for a great takeoff area. :-)  He must have been loaded down because she didn't want to leave the runway.

How do these affect the boots? Seem to be mounted on top of them.
