Well the second day of the flyin was even more awesome. We got a presentation about flying around the world via the equator and then about future plans of flying pole to pole. The interesting thing about this second flight is that a Twin Commander was chosen as the best plane to make the attempt. I can't wait to follow along on his successful attempt and wow what and awesome plane. Your son might be onto something with those 5 bladed props Steve :-).
I've uploaded the rest of the photos and a few videos of the events. I WON A TROPHY!!! Well, not sure that is being honest. I brought it up with me as they gave it to me last year and they gave it back to me to transport again. The trophy represents someone that works on his plane the most and I'm sorry to say it may just be my trophy to keep. :-)
On the way home we were having an awesome trip at 13k. Pressurization was working and I was in awe. Then about 2 hours into the trip my ears began to pop and I looked down (because the gauge to tell you you are about to die is behind the control yoke where you CAN NOT see it. It was bouncing up and down and the hydraulic gauge had started loosing pressure. I shut the system down and upon arriving home found my favorite substance in the universe firmly coating the entire plane. In fact it was pouring out of the bottom of the plane like someone had turned on a hose.
But, it ran good and got us home so wasn't total failure.
