What?s compact props?
The B models are great.
The later model ?compact hub? props get rid of the 5 year / 500 hour AD which applies to the steel hub props found on some planes like the one you and I flew. Last time I had the old props done it was over $17,000. The new props are $45,000 or maybe more nowadays. It?s this kind of thing that makes a huge difference in ownership but easy to discount when price shopping on the internet where all the planes look good.
