Thanks,  I am really looking forward to seeing it and flying it.

Monday I am traveling to Byerly aviation to pick it up.  Should be back in Florida on Tuesday for some minor maintence.

Once I complete insurance required initial training I am heading back to California.

After all that I should have some good pics and some stats.  I will  no doubt have a bunch of operational questions too.

I am am using Hugh Davis his company is called debut Inc.  I wanted to do initial training in the plane.  Might try simcom for recurrent.

Hugh was recommended to me and he seems to have quite a bit of commander experience.

You should get him to sign up here! His knowledge would really be appreciated.

I do my training in the airplane as well, through Aero Air. It's easy because they are next door, and all good friends of mine. And I always learn something!

Next time I might try your guys.  At least they are located in the same time zone!

I will let Hugh know about this site.

Time for an update Steve.
Are you bringing the old girl out west or what?
The weather has been nasty up here.

Finished initial training with Hugh Davis.  Great experience and a lot of good information.

I would recommend Hugh to anyone looking for a knowledgeable commander instructor.

Airplane is still at Naples jet center wrapping up some minor squawks.

Great panel, Steve! Can't wait to see it in real life someday.  :P
Slumming it in the turboprop world - so you don't have to.

Very nice panel setup! I really like the electronic standby instruments.

Thanks

I am real happy with the results.  Just wish I had it home already!  Some little sqauwks that I want fixed before bringing it back.  Naple jet center is doing it right and making it right, so no complaints there just getting impatient.

I hope your son wasn't in the fraternity that got shut down a couple weeks ago. If so, he should have plenty of time on his hands to go flying. Which would be a good thing.

He just got home a couple days ago, then took off with a buddy to go duck hunting.   I will have to ask him about it.

It looks like the plane wont be ready until after christmas.  A couple of things need fixing, pressurization fluctuates too much and some things in the panel need completing.  I am not taking it until it is 100%.

Good news on another front my 21 year old daughter is scheduled to solo tomorrow.  Hope the weather gods are happy, it can get windy this time of year.

Not yet, and I am pulling my hair out.

Flight idle setting is elusive, and the autopilot altitude capture is still not perfect.

I have been in daily contact with shop and am confident it's getting their full attention.  Still frustrating!
