I was very impressed by the training with Barry Lane. The flight training was thorough, and we did some things I wanted to do (in particular, failures of the G600 and partial panel).
The ground training was excellent as well. We were able to go in depth about the Sundstrand ECU in ways I had never been able to in the past, because the guys I trained with before really didn't have Sundstrand experience and knowledge (all 690 and Enviro).
Barry was also able to provide some good info from an overall operational perspective-- for example, what's involved in getting the Sundstrand overhauled and what his experiences have been. He just has a ton of Commander knowledge-- we even had some fun lunchtime chats about the 1200.
