Adam - my firsthand understanding is they don?t have it to sell, the Bill of sale is already in the US, and I?m sending parts to reseal this and that.  Now if you want to buy it and deal with the mess, that can certainly be arranged! It only took about 6 months to get on out of Arizona, this should be interesting.

My appetite for projects has diminished severely after my own, but of course, if she's flying and the price is right, I'm always interested in challenges!  ;)

I suppose if you own the "bragging rights" it becomes just a statement of fact as they see it 8)

I was out flying with an old friend of mine yesterday, and we were talking about Commanders, and hangars, etc.

Anyway, he flew this 980 from new to when it was sold to Indonesia. I sent him the video and pictures... he found it a bit sad, but hopefully Bruce will provide updated pictures and videos of it looking all nice again!

Interestingly, the people he flew it for had logging operations in Indonesia, although I doubt there was a connection.

From my friend Phil, how 95019 ended up in Indonesia:

"72S originally went to Indonesia to support Air Crane down there.  I was going to go with the airplane and spend a year or two with it but then I think the Indonesians required us to import it with an Indonesian registry which in turn required an
Indonesian pilot.  So they found a former Indonesian Air Force guy to fly it and he came here for a check out with me and then flew it back home.  He was a nice guy, we did a VOR approach into the Alvord Desert. "
