How about this for some turbulent weather.

Fly safe!

That looks like the 3pm EDT view most any day this summer up and down the east coast.  So lots to be gained by early morning departures.

Yep!

2 nd of July I flew delta from Boston to Salt Lake City and we had to fly south along the front all the way to Atlanta before we could head west.  Storms all along.

Pretty awesome to watch but hard to get over....

Even for a jet!

I went from Hillsboro to Colorado Springs yesterday mid-morning. Plenty of bobbing and weaving, but not a bad ride all in all. I would guess it got a bit sportier a few hours later, though.

Thursday I take the Aerostar on its first long flight
Going bend to Long Beach CA

Looking forward to testing out the new avionics.

Will see how bumpy the ride is compared to the 500s.

:)

But so happy so far!  I’ve been flying local getting used to the new avionics and really do appreciate the streamlined workflow.

I did add an Aspen to the system which gets installed next month.  Which will only enhance the upgrade.

Great to be back in the air
