I want Truly Nolan. Hoping it will still be here when I get out of my dark tunnel.

I think that could be a great airplane for you, actually. Would you keep the paint as-is?

I would have no choice in the beginning. But I would open up that blocked window. Looks silly without it.

I looked at that and could not quite understand why anyone would do that unless it was a camera ship at some point.

Why yes, I believe it was.  Or at least some secret government operational tool.

I wonder if there is some reason the window is blocked? In other words, maybe it's not so easy to unblock it?

Looks like ol' Truly sold?

Or maybe just to someone who is going to do a repaint and flip?

I don't think that's him.

N126M is a great airplane, though! I really need to find out what the deal is with the 7000 hour TBO.

Once again you are right Don- I should read more carefully.  N218MS vs. N126M

Once again Don you called it.
Truly Nolen repainted and for sale again:

Don't like that version of 980 on wingtip...copying the Japan 980 tail paint scheme.

Looks better, but why put 980 all over fin and tips? Don't get that. Also noticed they didn't reinstate the windows. Strange, I'd though it just be a plug you could remove and replace with the correct window. This suggest they re-did metalwork and eliminated the structure when they removed that window. Very strange - why?

The winglets look awful. I can't imagine why they did it that way. I would repaint those right away. Something on the winglets is nice (and frankly, I like having "980" on mine) but that is crazy. The giant "980" on the tail is not great either.

I will be curious how much it sells for in this climate. Or even what the asking price is.

What did it sell for last time?

"Why yes, I believe it was.  Or at least some secret government operational tool."

Bruce was correct...

I spoke with a friend and he remembered when it was in the service of the FBI and they had altered the window structure to allow for "restraints" used during prisoner transport.

So I guess putting the windows back would be considerable work.

As to the "980" on there I agree that they are way too big and do not go with the flow of the paint
